Embark on a two-day journey to master the Product Owner role.
In this hands-on, two-day training, you’ll take a practical journey toward mastering the Product Owner role in Scrum. You’ll learn the Scrum framework, understand the responsibilities of a Product Owner, and practice how to support and enable value creation and delivery with a Scrum team.
You’ll gain insight into how to bridge strategy and agile product management to build valuable products using Scrum. The training combines experience-based learning, reflection, and theory.
It also provides valuable perspectives for roles working closely with the Product Owner. In addition, the course prepares you for the assessment leading to the Professional Scrum Product Owner™ I (PSPO I) certification from scrum.org.
This course is for you
- Who are already acting as a product owner, or preparing to start in the role. It could also be that you are working closely with the Product Owners, such as Scrum Master, PM, BA, stakeholder, manager or other roles
- Who wants to develop your own, and the organizations, ability to develop valuable products and services

- Capabilities to practically use methods and techniques to lead the product development, prioritize the work, slicing for valuable outcomes and incremental and iterative deliveries from one or several Scrum teams
- Understanding of the framework Scrum and different roles as well as your role and how it is meant to work according to the latest Scrum Guide
- Collaboration with other Product Owners for shared deliveries
Pre-requirements
Previous knowledge about Scrum is a big benefit for this training if you don’t have the experience it is highly recommended to read the Scrum guide before the training: >https://www.scrumguides.org/
Certification

Language
This course can be held in Swedish or English depending on the participants. It can also be held on other locations or on-line e.g. in case of special circumstances and as well as an internal training for your company.
